This commision came about, as the client had a string of pearls she found old fashion and fussy and some broken jewelry. I worked with what she gave me, and voila! A no longer worn family wedding band became the toggle bar, and some of the other gold was used to give texture to the disk. Something old and unused became an often worn and cherished piece.
